Course Overview

Hrdayam School of Yoga 200hr Yoga Teacher Training is based on the Yoga Sutras of Patanajli. We cover all Eight Limbs as expounded by Bhagavan Patanjali which are Yamas (behavioural observances), Niyamas (internal discipline), Asana (posture), Pranayama (breath regulation), Pratyahara (regulation of sensory faculties), Dharana (confinement of the mind), dhyana (meditation) and samadhi (unity consciousness). "The Yoga Teacher Training I did with Hrdayam School of Yoga was something that I could've only dreamed of. I fell in love with Yoga not because it made me physically fit or flexible but I loved how it eased my depression and anxiety through lifestyle changes. The course not only made me a better teacher but it improved my personal practice so much! When I started applying the principles that Bettina taught me, I really felt I was practicing Yoga for the first time. The feelings that I started experiencing were different to when I would practice prior to taking the course. My favorite part about the course was how it healed me. I understand that my healing journey will take a lifetime but thanks to this course I have the tools to handle these obstacles. I recommend this course to anyone who's wanting to teach and deepen their own practice." - Neo Pheko
